Quilted Heart in Blue

A continuation of my experiments with blue, this is my largest painting to date.
The outdoor images are from my booth at the Atlantic Station arts & crafts market in Atlanta in 2010. People are generally surprised at the painting's size when they see it in person or in an image like this where they can see a contrast of size.
It took about 3 weeks to complete, working on it a little bit at a time, and the whole process was quite therapeutic. Brush, color, stroke. Brush, color, stroke.
