Cool Girls. An Atlanta non-profit dedicated to the self-empowerment, support and nurturing of girls.

Men Can Stop Rape (MCSR) is an international organization that mobilizes men to use their strength for creating cultures free from violence, especially men's violence against women.
Thorlos Socks for the Military. I LIVE in these socks at home, and although I wish we were not at war, I buy these socks for our soldiers, too.
Gridiron Heroes. I saw these strong young men on Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel. They've all been paralyzed playing football in high school, mostly as defensive backs. They provide emotional and financial support to each other, and unfortunately, new players who get paralyzed.
National Association of Free Clinics is the only national non-profit whose mission is solely focused on the needs of free clinics and the populations they serve.
A Long Walk Home is a non-profit organization that uses art therapy and the visual and performance arts to document, to educate and to bring about social change focused on women and children healing from sexual trauma.
Girls Educational and Mentoring Services (GEMS). You have got to see their film Very Young Girls, which is now available on Netflix. It is about how their organization is stopping the cycle of young girls (in New York!) who have been forced into prostitution and then prosecuted for it. They've got major celebrity push from Beyonce, Halle Berry and others.
Comfort Zone Camp provides grieving children with a voice, a place and a community in which to heal, grow and lead more fulfilling lives. Comfort Zone envisions a world where grieving children are not forgotten or left to grieve alone, and are supported by a wide community that understands and appreciates them.
Soles4Souls has a simple mission: To impact as many lives as possible with the gift of shoes.
Make It Right is helping residents of New Orleans' Lower 9th Ward rebuild their lives and community in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. Our initial goal is to bring at least 150 families home to affordable, green, storm resistant houses. (Founded by Brad Pitt.)
